Raymond Burelle, P. Eng.
Consultant

 

Raymond Burelle graduated from Laval University in Quebec with a B. A. SC. in Mechanical Engineering. He has since worked for companies involved in pulp and paper and power generation for over 35 years. Mr. Burelle’s experience covers areas such as process design, project management, business development, senior management, sales and marketing for companies such as Combustion Engineering, ABB, Tampella Power, Kvaerner Pulping, GL&V, Environmental Elements and Valmet (formerly Metso). He was the author, co-author and presenter of several papers in the area of chemical recovery and thermal power at conferences such as Pacwest, Tappi Peers and the International Chemical Recovery Conference. Currently retired from full-time employment, Mr. Burelle still works part-time as a consultant in P&P and thermal energy areas. In his last position at Valmet, Mr. Burelle worked in the development of projects to help mills improve their efficiency, reliability and achieve reductions in production costs. Mr. Burelle hold a Professional Engineering licence in Ontario.
