Energy management is making the "buzz" these days. In Canada, the United States and Europe, approaches such as ISO50001 are getting more and more attention from the industry's big players. What are the benefits for pulp and paper companies that have done a lot in the past to reduce energy consumption? Depending on the specific context for each mill, it can be: to sustain what has already been done for energy reductions or to get new cost reduction, securing return on investment of big CAPEX projects or responding to new customer demands. During this webinar, Bob Fraser from NRCan will talk about Canada's vision on energy management as well as the latest development in Canadian industry and what support available. Chris Russel from Atlantic Packaging will explain why his company chose to go ahead with ISO 50001, what are the expected benefits as well as the the biggest roadblocks.
