PAPTAC’s Bleaching Committee Spring 2021 Meeting will be held virtually over two (2) half-day sessions on May 11-12, 2021 with the time set to accommodate all time zones.

Three technical presentations covering the topics of Bleaching Controls and Pulp Washing are being planned, more details on these will follow.

Mill Update and Opportunities : Each participant provides an update on what has happened at their company in since our last meeting in October. Use this opportunity to gather feedback and possible solutions from the audience. Think of issues you are dealing with at your site and for which you could use some hints and advises.

Safety Roundtable : This time the safety presentation will be on sodium chlorate safe handling. The presentation will be approximately 20 minutes, followed by a 10 minutes question period. Then we will go around the “room” for participants to pool the audience with their safety related questions and concerns. Sharing of you HSE statistics and lessons learned from recent incidents is encouraged as a mean to increase our collective and individual safety awareness.
