Finishing Roundtable Recap   Environment Community Webinar

The Finishing Community Superintendents Roundtable grouped participants from AV Cell, Resolute, Domtar, White Birch, Kruger, and Fortress Cell at Hotel Château Classique, 20 Sept 2013 in Quebec City. The group's discussions revolved around Safety, Packaging, Lift Trucks, Warehousing, Logistics, Transportation, and Manpower. Participants shared their experiences, successes, and challenges in each of these areas and generated lively, constructive discussions. The conversation continued over lunch and coffee breaks and the day capped off with new acquaintances, a better appreciation of each other's work environments, the knowledge that everyone has common challenges and, consequently with a sharing of tips and ideas of how to learn from each other's experiences to improve their respective operations. Overall a very worthwhile day! The group is planning to hold another such roundtable in 2014
