The Papermaking Technology Community (PMTC) of PAPTAC is pleased to announce the 6th Edition of the Seminar on Improving Paper Machine Efficiency and Productivity, that will take place Feb. 5-6, during PaperWeek. Operating a paper machine is a complicated and complex task in which many variables must be known, understood and adjusted on a regular basis in order to obtain optimal results in terms of productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability. In this 1 ½ day seminar, eminent specialists will present what should be measured and optimized in a successful operation, with best practices and key monitoring points to reach the highest levels of productivity.

Optimization Workshop by Technidyne

PaperWeek will hold Optimization Workshops presented by Technidyne on February 2, 3 & 4. Topics will range from Standard Measurement and Optimal Process Control to Roll Quality Profiling and Optical Properties.

 

Bleaching Sessions

Mill Managers Roundtable

The Mill Managers Roundtable will take place Wednesday Feb 4 – 7:00 to 9:00 am. Topics will be "Safety Best Practices Roundtable", featuring a presentation on the Human Performance Improvement (HPI) approach, "Reliability Roundtable: How is your mill striving to become a High Reliability Organization (HRO)", and "Communication to Employees Roundtable: How are you managing the generational changes and new social media in your mill".
