Launch of PaperWeek Canada 2015 Website

PAPTAC is pleased to announce that the new Website for PaperWeek Canada 2015 is live and running, ready to reveal all the details of the upcoming edition of the Annual Conference of the Canadian pulp and paper Industry.

Under the theme Shaping the Future: People, Process and Innovation, the Program Committee is currently shaping up a strong program building on the great success of previous editions, and also providing new technical and management tracks to meet the needs of our fast-evolving industry.

The program at a glance and conference tracks are posted and the detailed preliminary program will be available later this Fall.

Forest Biorefinery Summit - Call for Papers

The Eastern Canadian Black Liquor Recovery Boiler Advisory Committee (ECBLRBAC) Fall Meeting for 2014 will take place Nov 17-20 in Ottawa ON / Thurso QC. The meeting will feature Key Topics for Kraft Mill Operations as well as Non Kraft Operations including Power Boiler Steam and Power Operations. Also schedules is a visit to the Fortress Thurso Mill to observe the New Biomass Co-Generation Facility.

The Forest Biorefinery Summit is organized by an international committee in conjunction with PaperWeek Canada, hosted by PAPTAC. It will be taking place during the week of February 2-5 2015 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Key players from the forest, bio economy and chemical sectors will share their experience. Governments, academia and research institutes will also be represented.
Abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations will be accepted until September 29, 2014.
