Suzanne Hohmann presenting Adam Chiasson with his scholarship |
It is with great pleasure that the Atlantic Branch announces Adam Chiasson of St. John, NB as the 2012-2013 winner of the $1000 scholarship.
This year there were 13 applicants to choose from. In order to qualify for the scholarship the applicants had to be returning to full-time studies after completing a work term with one of the Atlantic Branch member mills or affiliates, be of good academic standing and show an interest in pursing a career in the Pulp and Paper Industry.
This year PAPTAC provided $500 to help the Branch fund this very worthwhile investment for the future of the industry in Atlantic Canada.
