PAPTAC Biorefinery Course - Program Announced

Under the theme ''Designing the Forest Biorefinery'', this 3-day course in Vancouver BC, a first of its kind in Canada, will offer participants a great opportunity to learn from international experts on pratical biorefinery topics.

Presentations will focus on key elements such as Biorefinery technology management, Competitive evaluation of the bioproducts market, Supply chain management, Biorefinery deployment, Biorefinery start-ups, Assessing biorefinery risk, Energy integration, and Case studies.

Atlantic Branch Conference
Preliminary Program Announced



The winners of the bursary will be announced in the coming months.

The PAPTAC Western Branch is pleased to announce a $3000 contribution to the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) for two $1500 bursaries in 2013 available for undergraduate students majoring in the fields of Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science. These funds were made available as a result of previous successful conferences hosted by the Western Branch.

We feel this is an excellent initiative from the Branch and demonstrates a commitment to give back to the community and encourages young talent to come work in the industry
