The PAPTAC Western Branch Resumes its Activities

PAPTAC is pleased to announce the revival of its Western Branch. Following a growing interest from mills in Western Canada to have a daily forum to discuss current challenges and opportunities and exchange on industry best practices in fields such as safety, leadership, maintenance, alkaline pulping and bioenergy, PAPTAC will resume activities of its Western Branch in 2015.

We're pleased to see that members are keen to have this forum return. Following the success we've had with the growing attendance at Atlantic Branch and the recent revival of the Niagara Branch, these are positive signs for the industry! The timing is also exceptional with the 100th Anniversary of the Association. - Greg Hay, Executive Director

PAPTAC is dedicated to supporting its members and assisting mills in the West face their daily challenges with the support of regional events. The PAPTAC Western Branch will look to provide forums for Western Canadian mills to exchange and network on a variety of topics through technical meets, webinars, focus roundtables and networking activities.

Further details will be announced shortly.
