The 2013 Atlantic Branch Annual Conference, which was hosted by AV Nackawic, was held in Fredericton May 15-17. The conference was a great success with a 30% improvement in attendance over the previous year. Under the theme "Atlantic Canadian Innovation in the Pulp and Paper Industry”, the conference featured a program that showcased emerging innovative and technological advancements in our industry, and a visit to the host mill. PaperWeek Canada, the major Canadian gathering for the advancement of the pulp and paper industry, will be taking place February 3-7 in Montreal.
