International Nanotechnology Conference 2012
Starts Next Week!

PAPTAC partners with TAPPI for this edition of the International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials, that will take place June 4-7, 2012 in Montreal, QC Canada, and that will also feature a tour of CelluForce, the world's first NanoCrystalline Cellulose (NCC) plant located in Windsor, QC.

The Domtar Dryden mill in Dryden Ontario is pleased to be hosting the Spring 2012 Meeting of the PAPTAC Bleaching Community, June 11-13, 2012. The technical session theme for this meeting will be "Decreasing Variability Ahead of the Bleach Plant". This is a pretty broad topic, which can cover everything from chip handling and digester operation through screening, brownstock, and oxygen delignification.

The PAPTAC Atlantic Branch successfully held its annual meeting in Moncton NB on May 23 – 25, 2012.

The meeting attracted close to 40 participants with a full day of technical presentations, including 5 papers from Mill personnel. Click here to view the program.
Participants also had the opportunity to tour the Irving Tissue Converting Facility. The PAPTAC Atlantic Branch, serves the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and holds a yearly Annual Meeting. Click here to view the branch's most recent newsletter.
