The approach to energy utilization and energy cost reduction varies from mill to mill. Quality requirements, energy contract specifics, production capabilities and market conditions are only some of the drivers for decisions about energy management.
At Irving Paper there has been a significant focus on energy recovery projects and improving the visibility and daily management of the performance of these processes.

George has worked for Irving Paper for 28 years, initially filling the roles of Environmental Engineer and Technical Services Superintendent before joining the TMP Operations team.
George has held positions from TMP Process Engineer to TMP Manager, and is currently a Senior Operations Specialist.
