Nancy Marcus, Corporate Vice President Marketing, Kruger Products L.P. With her presentation "Touching The Hearts of Consumers" talking about how branding needs to connect with consumers on an emotional level (beyond just functional level), Nancy Marcus will present at PaperWeek Canada 2016.

Named one of Canada’s Top Marketers for turning the Tissue category “on its head”, Nancy and her team have collected over 80 national and internationally recognized awards for Kruger’s innovative marketing approach and its leadership position as in integrated internationally recognized company with impressive business results. Nancy has over thirty years experience in Domestic and International Consumer Marketing and Sales. She is a member of the Kruger Executive Leadership Team, Past Chair and annual best practice evaluator for the Cassies and Treasurer on the Board of Directors with the Advertising Standards Council and in 2014 was named one of Canada’s Star Women in Grocery and awarded the Women’s Executive Network Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada.

Éric Ashby, Mill Manager and Vice-President, Domtar Windsor, will provide a follow-up to his impactful 2015 presentation and keynote at PW 2016.

Providing an update on the impactful presentation “HPI” (Human Performance Improvement) related to safety culture he gave a year ago, Eric Ashby will return in 2016 with “Year 2 in the implementation of HPI at Domtar”. A truly novel approach to safety in the industrial workplace, and for the pulp and paper sector, HPI has caught the attention of several companies in the industry and Eric Ashby & Domtar have become a reference in its implementation.

Éric Ashby is General Manager of the Domtar Windsor Mill and Chairman of PAPTAC’s Mill Managers Community. He directly manages a team of about 820 employees. His experience with in Domtar started in 1997 and followed an early career with Repap in New Brunswick. Through the years, Eric Ashby worked with Domtar across Canada: Ottawa, Vancouver, Kamloops and Dryden. He obtained an Executive MBA from the Queen’s School of Business in Ottawa and a Masters, Pulp and Paper Engineering from McGill University in Montreal.
