Jean has been Vice President of FPInnovations since 2009. He joined the Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada (Paprican) in 1985 as a Research Engineer. Since the beginning of his professional career in the forest products industry, Jean has actively participated in numerous PAPTAC activities and responsibilities, such as Chairman of the Paper Machine Technology Committee (2002-2004).
