FPInnovations hosted the 24th Meeting of the ISO Technical Committee 6 (TC 6) on Paper, Board and Pulps, Oct 15-19. About 60 delegates from 13 countries and 5 continents attended the event. The major pulp and paper producing countries such as Canada, US, Sweden, Finland, Japan, China, Germany, UK, France, and Australia sent delegates to this meeting. The main goal of the work program within ISO/TC6 is to develop Standards that are technically relevant and to ensure that they do not discriminate against certain products, which could create trade barriers and be detrimental to foreign exports.

IMPC 2014 at PulPaper Event - Call for Papers

The Fall 2012 meeting of the PAPTAC Bleaching Community was graciously hosted by Canfor in Prince George, BC, on October 22-24. A record 60 people attended the 2.5 day meeting, held at the University of Northern British Columbia. Fully half of the attendees were mill employees, representing17 different pulp mills and pulp & paper companies.
