PAPTAC hosts the 2014 Control Systems Conference

PAPTAC is proud to organize the next Control Systems Conference which will be held in Quebec City, QC, Canada - May 13-15, 2014 at hotel Loews Le Concorde.

Control Systems is held every two years and is the preeminent conference in the area of process control and systems engineering for the pulp and paper industry.
The conference will also feature a new format with web access and live coverage of the sessions.

The PAPTAC Mechanical Pulping Community is organizing a webinar entitled ''Refiner control and energy reduction in a mechanical pulp plant'', which will be presented by Lahoucine Ettaleb, Eng., Ph.D on september 10th, 2013.

PAPTAC is pleased to be hosting a roundtable day for finishing / shipping / warehousing superintendents to be held in Quebec City on Friday, September 20. There will be a group dinner organized to welcome participants on Thursday the 19th. This roundtable aims to bring together superintendents in a networking environment with a productive agenda addressing a list of key topics to discuss around improvement, health / safety and workforce.
