We are pleased to be sending you the first issue of J-FOR+.

We hope you will enjoy this new enhanced edition of J-FOR featuring industry news, editorials, special interviews and market information, as well peer-reviewed papers that focus specifically on mill technology, applications and optimization.
J-FOR+ will be printed and published twice a year and will be distributed to all mills in Canada as well as internationally through PAPTAC's international partners and J-FOR's worldwide subscribers.

Carlo Dal Monte, Catalyst,
extends term on Council
  New Leadership for the
Mechanical Pulping Community

We are pleased to announce that Carlo Dal Monte, Corporate Energy Director, Catalyst Paper, will be extending his term on the PAPTAC Executive Council for an additional year. Carlo served a three-year mandate as councillor from 2011-2013.

James Olson, Associate Dean, Research & Industrial Partnerships at The University of British Columbia is the new Chairman of the PAPTAC Mechanical Pulping Community. He was the past Director of UBC’s Pulp and Paper Centre and is an internationally recognized forest products researcher who has been actively involved in the transformation of the forest sector into a vibrant diversified bio-products industry.
PAPTAC whishes to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Zhirun Yuan for his great leadership as outgoing Chairman.
