The International Chemical Recovery Conference, sponsored by TAPPI and PAPTAC, is held every three years and is the preeminent conference in the area of chemical recovery technology in the pulp and paper industry. The papers presented and the attendees come from all major pulp producing countries, so this will be your opportunity to see what is happening around the globe.

The conference will thus focus on environmental quality, improving recovery operations, the benefits of new technology and reviews of successful solutions. This conference will feature papers from all areas of Chemical Recovery. We expect that the southern ambiance with the mix of keynote speakers, technical papers and poster sessions will create a conference to be remembered.

The final scientific content, keynote lectures, papers and posters of the conference will be developed with the assistance of an International Program Committee (IPC). The IPC members and members of editorial board of selected journals will consider and recommend selected papers to be published or indexed also by selected and cooperating journals, e.g. Journal of Pulp and Paper, Pulp and Paper Canada, TAPPI JOURNAL. Information about the venue, technical and spouses program will be sent in a second announcement in April, 2009.
