Launching of the Canadian Mill Managers Community
We are very excited to announce the start-up of the Canadian Mill Managers Community.
Considering all the changes, challenges and opportunities that are part of today's industry, we feel there was never a more important time to form such a community. The objective is to create a group comprised of all the mill managers across the country. This community, initiated by the managers themselves, will have several opportunities to interact and exchange throughout the year, utilizing PAPTAC as the vehicle. The aim will be to have two face-to-face meetings during the year - one in Montreal during PaperWeek Canada and one during the PACWEST Conference, and with the possibility of a 3rd during the Fall, which could either be web-based or F2F. An e-mail discussion group will also be set up to circulate questions among the group on issues related to management, HR, operations, etc.
We look forward to putting this community together to serve mill managers and other key industry leaders.
