    DESCRIPTION
This award recognizes a mill’s efforts to sustain and continuously improve its safety performance and perpetuate a safety culture in the workplace. This award aims to go beyond the numbers and data (i.e., number of recordable incidents) and recognize tangible examples of how a mill addressed a specific issue and consequently improved its safety culture.
The award will be presented annually unless the judging committee considers that no suitable candidate has been nominated.

    Eligibility
The Awards are designed to reward mills and individuals involved in the pulp & paper and forest-based industry and are open to participants from across Canada. Those submitting an entry for their mill or for an individual should check with their mill management/head office to ensure they have the approval to enter the Awards.
Submissions should be comprehensive and concise and, as a general rule, should not exceed 10 pages.
Submissions should be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
