The F.G Robinson Community Service Award is conferred annually upon a chairman of one of the Technical Communities who has contributed most toward the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Association and who has shown outstanding leadership and service to his or her community.

DESCRIPTION
Background The F.G. Robinson Committee Service Award is named after a past-president of the Canadian Pulp and Paper Association. The late R.L. Weldon, also a past president of the CPPA, initiated the creation of this award in 1942.
Purpose and Objectives
The F.G. Robinson Award honours each year the Chair of the PAPTAC Committee who, in the opinion of the Executive Council, has contributed the most towards the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Association and who has shown outstanding leadership and service to his or her committee.
Nature of Award
A certificate and a gold pin.
Eligibility
PAPTAC Committee Chairmen.
Judging Rules
Criteria for eligibility:
- Adding substantially to the program of a committee.
- Motivating committee members in terms of activities and projects (i.e., active involvement).
- Having reactivated a faltering committee.
- Having increased the level of participation in a committee.
Judging Committee
The Executive Council of PAPTAC will be responsible for the selection of the award winner.
