    Job description: Regional Sales Manager - Technical Sales - Atlantic Canada and Quebec


    Responsibilities Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Technical Consulting Uses consultative selling method to sell high performance consumables and capital equipment to the Pulp & Paper, Mining and other industries or markets.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    Manage a specific geographical territory that demands travels through assigned territory to visit with customers and potential customers. Cultivate opportunities by consulting with the customer, trouble shooting applications and equipment as well as problem solving. Close business and build long term relationships. Will involve dealing with manufacturing plants, corporate offices, engineering / consulting firms and OEMs.

    Introduce, display and demonstrate capabilities. Present solutions that include relevant products and services. Sales aids consist of computer, electronic media, visual aids, brochures, product samples and trial product. Available resources include sales and technical support, specifically equipment and process assistance provided by company and partner companies.


    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities. However supervisory experience is an asset since the position involves coordination of the resources of our company and partner companies.

Has Paper & Pulp equipment and papermaking process knowledge. Mining and Industrial equipment and process knowledge.


    Education and/or Experience

    Technical certificate or engineering degree or university degree. Ten years related experience.


    Language Skills

    Fully bilingual French and English Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical professional journals, technical procedures, manuals and drawings. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customer, partners and company management. Must be bilingual – French and English.


    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and experience with contact management software, CAD, Microsoft Office.


    Other Qualifications

    Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
