    Job Description

    Valmet is looking for a product expert that will represent the company on key customer accounts, providing first class support and facilitating all inside sales functions.

    The incumbent will work closely with Valmet’s global network of experts to recommend the best solutions to customers with their Spare Parts and Consumable products inquiries. Responsibilities will include the preparation of quotations, order entries, technical assistance on our industry leading products and making sure that the required equipment is delivered on a timely manner.

    • Mechanical Engineering Degree combined with relevant work experience in technical customer services or sales.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
    • Capacity to read and understand mechanical drawings.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and availability to travel up to 10% of the time to customer sites in Canada.
    • Pulp & Paper Industry experience and knowledge of papermaking process/papermaking products will be considered as a valuable asset.

    This position will have responsibility in areas covering Alberta and British Columbia.
