PAPTAC’s F.G. Robinson Award		 as

Doug Barbour, Production Engineer at Harmac Pacific - Leader of the Alkaline Pulping Committee, will receive PAPTAC's F.G. Robinson Award.

The F.G. Robinson Award is conferred upon a chairman of one of the Technical Committees who has contributed most toward the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Association and who has shown outstanding leadership and service to his or her committee.

Thanks for the leadership of Doug Barbour, a strong steering group was setup back in 2016 to revive the activities of the Alkaline Committee with a an overwhelming membership comprised of over 60 with representatives from all kraft operations in Canada.

As a true PAPTAC leader and believer, Doug organized roundtables, webinars, alkaline sessions, mill tours and so much more during his two years mandate as Chairman of the Alkaline Committee.

It is a well deserved award and an honor we had him on board as a long time PAPTAC member. Thank you Doug!

The award presentation will take place on Thurday, February 7th during the Awards Luncheon.
