PAPERWEEK FLASH The Annual Conference of the
Canadian Pulp and Paper Industry
December 15, 2017

Papermaking will be at the top of priorities
at PaperWeek 2018

Justin Charron,
Irving Paper Limited
Papermaking Track Leader

PaperWeek 2018 will held the week of February 5th at the newly renovated Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. This will mark the 104th edition of our industry’s banner event!

It is with great pleasure that we are seeing “Papermaking” occupying such a prominent role in this year’s program. It is PaperWeek after all!

On top of multiple papermaking sessions, which some will also specifically cover Tissue and Board manufacturing and markets, we are bringing back a Papermaking Roundtable, led by Justin Charron, Irving Paper and Chairman of the Papermaking Technology Committee (PMTC) of PAPTAC.

The papermaking track will run all week and the two roundtables will be held on Tuesday Feb 6th and Wednesday, Feb 7th.

This is a time where there is a renewed need for troubleshooting, discussing the latest and upcoming repurposing projects, and to have a forum to share issues and network among papermakers. I hope to see many of your present.
