Federal R&D Activities and Services for Forest Biorefinery Development in Canada

This panel will provide an overview of Natural Resources Canada (CanmetENERGY), FPInnovations and National Research Council research activities and services in support of forest biorefinery development in Canada. The focus of this research is to help provide a bridge across the “valley of death” of new innovative technologies by helping to de-risk the initial implementation of a technology by demonstrating technical feasibility as it is scaled up to pilot, demonstration and commercial scale.
