Jean Houde of Norampac joins the PAPTAC Executive Council

Regional General Manager

Holding a Master's Degree in Pulp and Paper from UQTR and a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry from Ottawa U., Jean is the Regional General Manager for the Containerboard division of Norampac, a division of Cascades Canada ULC. Previously, he held the Mill Manager and Production Manager positions for Norampac Mississauga and Norampac Kingsey Falls, respectively. Before joining the Norampac Group, Jean has been Technical and Environment Manager for the Cascades Breakey Fibres and Cascades folding carton Jonquiere mills. He has built a vast and diversifed expertise in Operations and Management of containerboard, folding carton and deinking fields as well as in R&D, from his mandates in Norampac-Cascades and when he worked for the R&D Centers of Domtar, in Senneville and Natural Ressources Canada (CANMET). When Jean does not work, he likes travels, photography and spending time with his family. Jean is a member of PAPTAC since 1997. He is proud to take on a key role within the Association and to join PAPTAC’s executive council to share his knowledge and experience.
