Leslie Jones was an active member of many technical associations with the pulp and paper community throughout his career, including PAPTAC. We take this opportunity to recognize the Jones family who has been a part of this industry for many years with Douglas Jones, Leslie's father, who was manager of PAPTAC (then CPPA Technical Section) for 30 years, and Leslie's son, Doug, who currently works with Metso and who is also a long-standing member of PAPTAC.

Robert Herdman, 85, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Mr. Herdman was a PAPTAC member since 1956, and worked at Bowater all his career until he retired in 1990.

PAPTAC extends its condolences to their families

These courses are of great value and will provide participants with a broad understanding of the fundamentals involved in these areas and practical tools on how to evaluate systems operations, improve performance and results, and further develop operating skills.
